These earrings are handcrafted from plastics and waste collected on the beaches of NL. The purpose of this jewelry is to create awareness, and lessen the detrimental effects of plastic in our ocean on the flora and fauna of NL.
20% of the proceeds of the sale of these earrings will be donated to a wonderful organization, The Rock Wildlife Rescue, which was established in 2021 to provide a desperately needed service to rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife within Newfoundland and Labrador. Injured ducks, song birds, squirrels, rabbits, owls, crows all can find refuge and quality care until their eventual release back to the wild.
The materials are set in resin and the earring hooks are sterling silver.
